Salary: GL-9: $47,576
GS-11: $55,706
GS-12: $66,767

A candidate appointed at GL-9 or GS-11 may be promoted up to the GS-12 level without further competition.

Bargaining Unit Status: Covered

RELOCATION EXPENSES ARE NOT AUTHORIZED.

Selectees may be placed in any component within the Branch and will be subject to rotation or reassignment as needed.

Hours: The incumbent of this position may be required to work in shifts or at unusual hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Applicants interested in serving on the Certification Board. Board members help set policy for credentialing and develop procedures for such for Addiction Counselors in Washington, D.C. to coincide with National Standards.

Applicants must be certified by either an ICRC State Board or a NAADAC affiliate Board. Members are chosen on personal qualifications, places of employment and area of expertise (as the Board attempts to have a wide cross section of representation of varying credentials and agencies).

Note: Board members do not handle the day-to-day functioning of the Board. It is their primary responsibility to set policy.
